About
Training Horses for the ride, not just the performance
My name is Isabella Piracci. I am a 15 year old equestrian, dedicated to creating a better future in the horse world, one horse at the time. I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and began riding horses when I was 9 years old and began training horses at 12. I have worked with a multitude of professional trainers to develop what is now my training style. I am well versed in reading equine body language, allowing my training to be effective and easy for the horse to understand. I believe horses need a well balanced program where they can understand boundaries. To do this, I use pressure-and-release training styles to create a safe, calm horse and positive reinforcement to build confidence and responsiveness.
After a horse has reached its full potential, I find the perfect family for it. I only purchase one horse at a time, allowing that horse and any client horses to have my full attention and the proper time to build confidence and understanding. When selling horses, I prioritize transparency, my goal is to find the correct fit.

Our Story
Whenever I speak to someone who needs a horse to be trained, they talk about sending it to a “cowboy.” At first, I didn’t know what they meant by that. But now I know. A “cowboy” is where a horse gets sent to be trained quickly. It’s where a horse’s spirit gets broken. A couple months is not enough time to take a horse from nearly feral to rideable. I’ve personally seen horses come back from cowboys after a 60-day “training” program without any personality. Horses who used to love being scratched are scared of our hands. Yet just a few months after being trained by the cowboy, every horse becomes "dangerous” or “crazy” or “lazy” again. That’s not training, though.
Horses aren’t sent to cowboys because the owners don’t care, they’re sent to cowboys because there aren't any other options. With Cosmic Dressage, I have created the better option. I take in the horses that have been given up on, the ones that are too scared to learn, too shut down to think, and too confused to listen. I bring out their potential through patience and proper communication. My goal is to change the way we train and ride horses, one horse at a time.
