Picasso is a 12-year-old Selle Français cross gelding who’s the perfect partner for someone looking for a safe, versatile, and fun horse. He is a 15.1hh chestnut gelding with white spots on his neck. He's schooling 0.80–1.0m showjumping and First Level dressage, with experience at small local shows.

This guy is truly beginner- and AA-friendly — he’s careful and kind with kids, patient under saddle, and has the temperament that makes him a joy to ride day after day. On the ground, his manners are impeccable, and under saddle he’s calm (4/10 temperment), responsive, and reliable. He’s more woah than go, but once warmed up he goes forward happily. He also loves hitting the trails, both alone and in groups.

He has clean ultrasounds following a mild suspensory strain earlier this summer (no tears, fully recovered, no limitations). He has no maintenance requirements and stays sound barefoot. Picasso is a very easy keeper and could live off of hay.

Picasso loads and trailers well, though on new trailers he sometimes appreciates a little extra encouragement to step up. Once he’s on, he hauls quietly and easily.

Picasso thrives with routine, but he’s the exact same trustworthy horse every day. He’s the type you can pull out after a few days off and enjoy right away.
